President Jacob Zuma has confirmed that he plans to institute an inquiry into state capture.He's indicated he would do so within 30 days of the High Court in Pretoria ruling on his review. Earlier today, the president's lawyers met the deadline to make their submission to the Court on the way forward with regards to the Public Protector's state of capture remedial action recommendations. Details of what is contained in the submission, specifically who shall head it, remain unclear. The President took the report on review, arguing that the stipulation that he appoints a judge nominated by Chief Justice Mogeng Mogeng is unconstitutional.
