A senior Kenyan election official who went missing was found murdered on Monday three days after he was reported missing, the Electoral Commission chairman has said. Chris Msando, the Information, Communications and Technology manager was tortured and killed under unclear circumstances. Commission Chairman Wafula Chebukati has now demanded security for all members of the commission. Kenya goes to the polls next on Tuesday week, amid fears of post election violence. Former SABC COO of the SABC Hlaudi Motsoeneng is taking his case to the CCMA on Tuesday. Sports and Recreation Minister Thulas Nxesi will establish a Ministerial Commission of Inquiry to investigate the cause of the stampede that led to the deaths of two people during the Soweto Derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
