Members of the three families of the mine workers who are still trapped underground at Lilly Mine in Mpumalanga say they are glad that locals come and conduct prayer services for them. Different churches held a prayer service at the mine remembering Pretty Nkambule, Yvonne Mnisi and Solomon Nyerenda. President Jacob Zuma has called on ANC members to be vigilant and guard against what he calls a ploy by western countries who are funding certain political parties and individuals plotting a regime change in South Africa. The President was addressing party members attending the party's cadre's forum in KwaDukuza north of Durban. The department served non-compliance notices to five farms after finding them guilty of not complying with certain labour laws.
