Yvette Borjas is the daughter of Salvadoran asylum seekers who fled the civil war in the 1980's. As the first person in her family to graduate from college, she earned a BA from Yale College and graduated in 2018 from Stanford Law School. Yvetter worked as a civil rights attorney focused on border and immigration issues at the ACLU of Arizona. She’s a new angeleno lecturing at UCLA.
