The electromagnetic spectrum is a strange thing.  One could even say curious.  It's how we see.  More importantly, it's how we microwave leftovers.  But go too far in either direction and things get dangerous.  Radioactivity, for example.  You don't want that.  There is one more bit of the spectrum even worse for your health than gamma rays: radio waves.  It's more of a mental health thing than physical there.
