Full Hour | In today’s third hour, John Ricciuti, a citizen out in Radnor, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the push back in the town against the installation of a CBD Kratom shop near a Middle School. First, Gioradano asks Ricciuti for his objections against Kratom, with Ricciuti telling why he sees the opening as a detriment to both Radnor residents and kids at the middle school. Then, Ricciuti and his partner Jill Frechie tell of the fears that they have surrounding Kratom, and tell whether or not they would be comfortable with a similar store away from the middle school.
Then, Kenny Xu, author of An Inconvenient Minority: The Attack on Asian American Excellence and the Fight for Meritocracy, returns to the show to discuss a recall election out in San Francisco due to treatment of Asian students in the school district. Xu sets the stage for the situation unfolding in San Francisco, telling of the demographic makeup of the city and the strength of the Asian-American community. Also, Giordano asks Xu about the mindset of those who call Asian-Americans ‘white adjacent,’ telling how the racist notion only counters the narrative those who employ it hope to perpetuate.
