    Rapidly Rotating Records 78RPM Show – May 8, 2016

Happy Mother's Day! In addition to a "Mother's Day" segment, on this week's show, we're going to have some more chili, we'll feather our nest, look at some alternative activities and give you a couple of "for instances." Just as a reminder, the upcoming Catalina Island Chili Cookoff takes place on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 11-6 at South Beach, Avalon. And on that same day at 1 PM is the Catalina Island Museum's Silent Film Benefit. It's a double feature with "One Week" (1920) starring Buster Keaton and "The Kid Brother" (1927) starring Harold Lloyd. Tickets for the Silent Film Benefit can be purchased online at catalinamuseum.org.
