This week begins with a call for aid from our Rate-a-loid community before we get into our good vocal synth, Tone Rion. Tone is a Moe-specific Vocaloid idol, aka a Vocaloidol. The idol focus is real in this Vocaloid, made to promote an idol company and the first in a whole set of them. Throughout we reference dead memes, Jonathan references obscure wrestling interviews, and we expand on our Rate-a-verse lore setting. Enjoy!

Today in our self-described funny podcast we discuss the intricacies of a potential Metal Gear cooking game, the greatest threat Guy Fieri poses to us all before and an astounding Gacha-watch before getting into our Vocaloid for the day! SeeU is a Korean “moe” Vocaloid based on a K-Pop idol, with a really sweet cat aesthetic. We have fun this episode, talking about the inspiration of the aesthetic, the name, and everything about this friend. Enjoy!

Welcome to Rate-a-loid, we’re never getting jobs! This week, we test out a new segment called Gut-nut and try and get as much content as we can from Mew, the good good cat friend. We vow to never make sense again and investigate a Vocaloid with a very unique visual style. Take a listen and enjoy.

Finally, we do talk about Utatane Piko, our Vocaloid for this week, a digital guitar friend. This discussion takes us to Vocaloid personality quizzes, the fetishization of Shota content, and bread sauce? Good luck, enjoy

So we start off with a doozie, Harper analysing the Nyan Neko Sugar Girls, before we get into our Vocaloid for the day, Nekomura Iroha. Nekomura is a walking Hello Kitty advertisement and also our first Vocaloid with a full backstory!! Mixed feeling on every front as we deal with capitalism and themes about generational brand faith.

We start today’s episode with a harrowing discovery that will weigh over us for years to come, but we promise to remain the same. This week we are reviewing the little dinosaur, Ryuto! Unfortunately, there is minimal content about Ryuto so look forward to us going on tangents, padding for time, and talking about all sorts of stuff. Take a listen and enjoy.

In today’s episode of Rate-a-loid, we discuss the failings of the Vocaloid gaming brand and how they’re clearly overlooking our industry expertise on which Vocaloid are best. We also review Tonio, a classical opera singer who is simultaneously a lot while also lacking substance. Tonio was made to target professional music producers which means there’s very little for us in the fandom to work with. Take a listen and hear us pad by talking about Mass Effect, Gachas and all sorts of topics.

Hello Comrades and Compatriots and welcome back to Rate-a-loid. This week we discuss our worst Vocaloid of all time’s best friend, Big Al. The episode Jonathan starts up with stories of Christmas retail in Australia before a descent into Lord of the Rings games and modding. When we finally get into our Vocaloid of the week we discuss all the incredible forms of Big Al, the wild fan theories that people have created for this powerful undead singer, and just how deep his voice can do. Take a listen and enjoy.
