Rate-a-loid

Hello anime fans and Vocaloid fools and welcome back to our intrepid podcast where we do what no one else will. In our second episode of Rate-a-loid we discuss Kaito, a Vocaloid created to be Meiko’s counterpart. Tune in for discussions on Kermit the Frog, obscure JRPG protagonist aesthetics, and only the hottest of takes. FYI towards the end of this episode, I (Jonathan), definitely make a mistake while talking about next weeks episode, so look forward to next week’s discussion of Sweet Ann, who we definitely do review.

Hello and welcome to Rate-a-loid! This is a brand-new podcast devoted to the reviewing and ranking of Vocaloids, singing voice synthesisers with characters associated with them. This week our hosts, JT and Harper take a look at Vocaloid’s original rock’n’roll girl Meiko. First made in 2004, Meiko is one of the earliest Vocaloids to receive a personality and appearance and has a good amount of history we got to draw on. From casual alcoholism to ugg boots, this episode has everything.
