Today's stories are from 2012, both have a sci-fi flavour, with overtones of Apple.
For the first, the challenge was to write a story using only the present tense, This constraint adds a sense of urgency to your writing, and prevents you from adding in long backstory.
The next story has a more complicated prompt. There are many structures to craft a story around, we were given a seven-part one: intro; problem; initial struggle; complications; failed attempt; major crisis; climax and resolution. But it’s just a story.
