In today’s episode, we welcome a very special guest- Ethan Smyth, aka my brother. Although he's "Brutha from Anotha Motha," in my contacts, he is very much from the same mother. Unfortunately. Anyways, in this episode, we turn the clocks back, and reminisce on all the good ole days of our blissfull childhood. Fights over gameboys, throwing up outside of a childhood bedroom, fond memories as the VIP position of my younger brother, lots of laughs, and calling grandma to ask who her favorite grandchild is. Getting really personal, and dare I say, RAW? Because in this episode, I share my story with getting diagnosed and living with Crohns, an autoimmune disease that resides in the digestive tract. We really get into it- I talk about my lifestyle changes, dietary restrictions, alcohol adjustments, and lots of accidental sharting of le pants during bad flare ups. Although we planned on doing part 3 of the riveting self proclaimed business series, I turned 28 this week, and nostalgia hit me like a freight train. So I decided to pivot, and this weeks episode is an ode to my former self. All the things I wish I'd known as I've moved through the mysterious era of my twenties. Ah the nomad lifestyle. Traveling always brings me so much joy, and even more so when I stumble upon friends to share in those experiences with. Enter stage left, Hanna Dugas, one of my best friends since moving to Denver. Fitting enough, Hanna and I just returned from back to back travels in Mexico and Aspen. This seems to be a theme in both of our lives; always on the go and down for just about anything. I think that's how we became such close, fast friends; we share a love of exploration, saying yes, and prioritizing travel. So we decided to sit down together and share the tricks of the trade. I'm not that old, chill out.  However, I must say, they do seem to be slipping farther and farther away with each passing year.
