Dating is confusing and hard and a wild time that we are all blindly attempting to navigate. Well, as a ripe 28 year old that has been single the majority of her life, yes I’m talking about myself in the third person, I’m here to help. You asked, and I listened, and I attempted to answer all of our burning questions when it comes to courting the opposite sex and finding love in a hopeless place. As we near the end of 2022, I decided to take a look back and reflect on the year. Not only do I take you along on the ride that is my life, from January to December, but I also give you the tools to do this yourself. As an avid journaler, and reflection extraordinaire, I have a little routine I do at the end of each year. I think its important to take a beat, figure out what the last 365 days meant to you, and then look forward to the new year. Reflection is my favorite thing in this world, second to living and experiencing the things I now get to reflect on. So I hope you can use the knowledge from this episode as a blueprint to look at your own life happenings, and the ups and downs that come with this human experience. The belief in clean slates, resolutions, time ending, and beginning, like it does with a new year, is such a cute thing we do. Aliens probably look down on us, and smile like “Awww stupid little homosapiens.” So enjoy this episode, enjoy the remainder of your year, do something crazy, and be yourself. Xo

Decided to repurpose some audio from a guest appearance on my dear friend Gen’s podcast, The House You Live In. In this episode, we talk about a wide range of topics. The subject matter was supposed to center around my ACL and what that recovery looked like, but naturally Gen and I can’t speak linearly. We did talk alot about my ACL injury while skiing and what that recovery, both mentally and physically was like though, so anyone that’s been through it or is going through it, can absolutely relate. ACL is a BITCH and a half, lemme tell ya. We discuss LOTS of mental health tings, as well as therapy, dating, woes and loneliness in your 20’s, depressive spells and moving through them, podcasting, comparison, injury and recovery from that injury, skiing and living in Colorado, literally the list goes on and on. I love recording w Gen, because it truly doesn’t feel like we’re recording, its just like we’re chatting, so the time flies. Two books, “The Power of Habit,” and “Atomic Habits,” really changed how I view my time and habits, and helped me learn how to create new ones and break bad ones. So today, I do my best to take some key points from each book, and give you the foundation and inspiration to implement some new rituals in your own life. I've been in the thralls of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday craziness, as well as prepping for the holidays. I've also been traveling more than I have in awhile, and moving out of my house in Denver. A bit of a stressful time, to say the least. I tell y'all about a new apparel line I'm working on, as well as a new business I'm starting. I also discuss moving to the mountains, and living with a boy that I'm sleeping with, yet not officially dating? Its confusing. Episode 20! We made it, and we’re so happy you’re here! This week, I sat down with my lovely friend, Anna Grace Newell. She is truly SUCH a dynamic soul, and a woman of many talents. We’ve been friends since 2017, and have experienced much of life together. Something that bonded us from the beginning, was our struggles with food, body image, working out, and the anxiety we put around those things. We’ve both undergone a transformation of sorts, and healed ourselves from within while learning and growing in various parts of our lives. I’m so thankful for everything I’ve learned from struggling with that for so long, so we share our stories to try and help you if you’re struggling too. Living in these bodies sometimes means intrinsically hating these bodies, feeling shame around how they look and obsessing over making them “perfect.” We get it, we’ve been to every dark place you have, and we want to help and make you feel less alone.
