Pastor Ray Bentley says the Bible instructs us to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. Today, he explains why G. Campbell Morgan, a preacher from England, his congregation, said, why do you always say to ask for the filling of the Holy Spirit, even in your own life? You say that you ask always for the filling of the Holy Spirit. ou know what his answer was? Because I leak, you know, it's not very theological, but it sure describes what we experience.
What does it mean to be a Christian? Pastor Ray Bentley says it's more than what we do or what we know. When it comes right down to it, it's who we know and what we allow him to do in our lives. It's not just that, well, I went visiting God to spend an hour with him on Sunday, and then I go out and do the best I can in the world.
God doesn't like to be put in a box. Today, pastor Ray Bentley explains how God may not always work in the way we think he will. God is always from Genesis to Revelation. He is trying to get outside of our boxes. We don't have it all figured out all the time, and always with perfect understanding. God can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, however he wants spread.

The Bible says Ananias and Sapphira were duplicitous. But pastor Ray Bentley says their story isn't uncommon today. Before we get to judgmental about the hypocrisy of Ananias and Sapphira, what really the Lord is saying is he could buy his holiness. Do that to all of us. None of us are worthy. None of us is without hypocrisy. And so it causes us to walk in a certain sense, without respect for the holiness of God.

We hear the term a lot. What does it mean to be a spirit filled believer in Christ? Today, pastor Ray Bentley has the answer. The greatest sign that you are filled with the Spirit of God is that you are a different person than you used to be. Like John the Baptist said, I must decrease that he might increase. That's a great phrase to explain the Christian life. I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
We know God hears our prayers, but once the secret to having them answered. Pastor Ray Bentley addresses that in today's study. The secret to prayer is to pray according to the will of God. Well, that's the big $64,000 question. What is the will of God? Well, the will of God is revealed in God's Word. Well, when you're praying God's Word, you have absolute confidence. This is the will of God. So you can pray with faith spread.
Pastor Ray Bentley on sharing the gospel. If you're a young, zealous believer, you might not know how to be a witness. Satan will use that to say, Hey, you're going to be too strong. And so you just better be quiet. Wait till you get more spiritual. Satan goes to the older ones and says, Oh, you've done that before. Why don't you just let it be your nice, quiet little life, and that'll be plenty. And so Satan has won in silence. The most important message this world needs to hear is spread.
Pastor Ray Bentley offers good insight for the times we face spiritual opposition. You are not having opposition because you're out of the will of God. You are having opposition because you are in the will of God. It's a sign that you're where you're supposed to be. It is the normal condition of a believer in Jesus Christ. You should be worried if you don't have any opposition. If Satan is in opposing you, then I think maybe something truly is wrong.
