Full Hour | Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards.
First ,Dom welcomes in Monique Hofkin, a member of the Central Bucks School District, on to discuss a complaint she filed for multiple anonymous parents with the U.S. Department of Education over a Spanish teacher for Central Bucks West who head’s their Muslim Student Association. Hofkin tells us what concerned the parents, offering glimpses onto the teacher’s social media postings which call, among other things, the death of Jews.
Then, Dom continues by welcoming Guy Ciarrocchi back on to discuss a piece he penned for Broad and Liberty concerning the teacher’s union stranglehold on the debate over school choice. Giordano notes the thirst from voters on both sides of the aisle for the allowance to choose where to school their children, with Ciarrocchi explaining why Democratic politicians, even ones who campaign on school choice such as Josh Shapiro, never follow through on their promises.
