Full Hour | Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards.

This week, Dom welcomes Stephanie, a parent in the North Penn School District, who led a protest last week after a horrific incident played out in her child’s school Pennbrook Middle School, back onto the podcast to offer updates on the story after last night’s meeting on safety in the school district. Dom first reminds listeners of the story, telling of a terribly violent attack with a Stanley steel mug on a 12-year-old by a 13-year-old who has had a violent past. It came out with the incident that faculty were warned of an impending attack, with allegations that the warnings were ignored due to the gender identity of the assailant. After hanging up with Stephanie, Dom takes a call from Vince Altieri, another father in the North Penn school district, who penned an article for North Penn Now about the horrific attack in the district. Vince explains why he’s called for changes to administration, noting a continued trend of politics prioritized over other issues in the district, here being the safety of students.
