Real Broker announced its acquisition of RE/MAX (pending finalization around Aug–Sept), creating one of the largest real estate companies globally. This strategic move to combines: RE/MAX’s global brand + experienced agents with Real’s tech-driven platform + modern model and the goal is to provide more options for both agents and clients. 

🏢 How It Will Work

•  A holding company structure will sit at the top. Real and RE/MAX remain separate brands (no forced rebranding). Agents will not need to switch brokerages. Collaboration increases, especially in referrals, technology and services (mortgage, title, etc.) 
•  RE/MAX agents gain access to Real’s tech stack, AI tools, and lead nurturing systems, while Real agents gain brand credibility and expanded services (commercial, relocation).
•  Potential to compete with platforms like Zillow on lead generation 
•  ~1M high-intent leads annually from RE/MAX platform alone 
•  This is NOT about recruiting RE/MAX agents into Real. Both models will coexist and serve different agent preferences.
•  Think of it as “two strong brands under one umbrella.” Agents are encouraged to build relationships across both networks and share tools and knowledge
