Have you ever started out doing something you thought you could make a lot of money at, only to find out that the grass actually was greener on the other side? That’s exactly what happened to Joe Delia.  Prior to getting into real estate sales full time, he was an investor, flipping houses while running his real estate agent business part-time. It wasn't until he spent an entire year trying to flip a house, only to make $2,500 that he realized it was much easier being a real estate agent than it was to flip a house. It was then that Joe decided to turn his full attention to real estate sales with 2014 being Joe's first year as a full-time real estate agent.  This decision definitely turned out to be the right one for Joe as he was able to end the year with a total of 50 transactions totaling about $7.5 million in sales.  Joe’s desire to keep his momentum going in 2015 prompted a jump to Keller Williams Realty and expansion of his team, which includes a full-time mortgage broker and his wife

Our guest on the show this week is Patrick Brady with Keller Williams Realty. Patrick has just over 25 years of real estate experience, specializing in residential sales and more recently in probate, trust, conservatorship, and divorce asset property sales. We talked with Patrick about his recent shift into the area of probate sales and asked him to share with us some insights and helpful tips he has learned about this unique real estate sales niche.

After years of working through big brokerages, Judy decided that the time had come for her to take the leap and start her own brokerage. As Judy mentions in our interview, most of her clients are online. She didn’t need a land line, a fax machine, or a receptionist. She was doing all of her marketing herself and had never really received many sales leads from her brokerages. She had no plans to recruit and so therefore saw no need for physical office. Judy says that thanks to the internet and today’s technology it was really not that hard to form her own virtual brokerage.

Ken knew without a doubt, that he would be a realtor when he grew up after tragically losing his uncle, who was a realtor himself, and his aunt in an airplane crash. At age 21 Ken became the youngest realtor in the state of Missouri and eventually went on to become a high profile real estate broker in Branson, Missouri for 33 years. Ken firmly believes in giving back to the community and helped raise the 160 million dollars for the Branson Airport.  He also served as the Chairman of the Board for the first 3 years. Ken Coleman is now CEO and Co-inventor of the “Tubular Sign” which he hopes will change the ‘face’ of real estate marketing.
