When do you reward yourself?  Do not do it when you are tired and need a break otherwise you will take your work with you.   Take a break when you have earned one and that will help you be ‘off work’ when you are away.

A big mistake many agents make is that they forget what got them to where they are now.  Why do we stop doing the basics?  Great agents are great at doing the high return activities even the basic ones.

Are you riding on the results from last year?  Are you looking for excuses as to why things are not going as well as you would hope?  Well stop hoping and start working on YOU.

What is your big picture goal?  If you don’t have self belief, it doesn’t matter how big it is or even if it exists - because it won’t happen.

What is it you really want from your career in real estate?  Remember – you will become what you focus on so would focusing on helping people achieve their goals make you a better person and better agent?

What were you told by your parents?  How has that framed your success or limitations today?  Are these just reasons that become convenient for you to be comfortable?

Stop setting targets for yourself!  If you want to see how good you can really be, push the boundaries.  Don’t measure yourself by how good someone else is – find out how good you can be.

Stop blaming others if things are not working for you and start looking in the mirror.  So what is holding you back?

We get really busy in real estate - so busy in fact that we forget that one of the great needs of every seller, and buyer for that matter, is feedback.  You can’t give too much but sadly most agents give too little.
