Please this is more like a public announcement

Please as a parent or guardian before you employ a domestic staff make sure you do a proper background check on them

Recently I went shopping and a lady caught her driver go through her phone that she left in the back seat of her car while she went into the supermarket to shop.

This lady was so mad because she said she was kidnapped and she paid millions to gain her freedom

So in such situations what would you do to such driver ?

And also listen to a man share his story about his sisters driver that planned the kidnap of her 3 kids , despite how good the last was to the driver and his family,

So please whatever you do make sure you get the right information about your domestic staff

I want to be happy to see anybody I know be a victim of such wicked deed

My advice to you is please do a proper background check and get a police report if possible..

A bad attitude can spoil the image of your business

So I was going to drop my son off at school and we drove pass a furniture store and I was giving him gist of how I was treated the day I went to the shop for furniture

I left in anger because of the bad attitude of the sales person

This is why I say a bad attitude can spoil the image of your business mind the kind of people you employ another thing is them trainings

You know this is one thing that the westerners will always use in their business they don’t care who you are so far you entered their business premises they treat you with the courtesy

you see them smile , they greet you politely ask you what you want , even if you don’t want to buy they still treat you well

It is so heartbreaking that you enter a business place and the sales person is giving you attitude, weighing you by your looks to see if you can afford what they sell or not ,

some will sit down and be looking at you going around and round and and will not even bother to ask you what you need

So as a business owner you should invest in giving your staff trainings let them know what Customer Service means remember you won’t be there all the time, you won’t know how they treat your customers, you won’t know how they treat the people who come in contact with your business

You see the reception is the face of the business so please give your staff trainings talk to them about how their attitude can spoil your business

Let me give you an instant I once worked with a company M and B in this company they have different sections , they have paints and they have furniture section so I was the business development manager for the clothing section so one day a guy got down from a taxi all this alone taxi , walked into the premises

As there’s a cctv so we normally see everyone who comes and goes

So when this guy got to the door my junior workers were like ma don’t open the door, this one that drop from along he can’t buy anything here .. see how he is

Well I won’t blame them the place is a high brand shop for only designers collection.

But me being an experienced business developer I know we don’t judge by the looks .. billionaires sometimes look like a regular person

So I went ahead and opened the door , and gave him a big smile , in my words hello sir how may I be of help to you

This guy took a deep breath and replied

MADAM PLS DRESS ME UP

I swear I wasn’t expecting that at all , so I took him round asked what was the occasion and behold our guy that got down from alone taxi spent 475k naira.. he paid and he said madam because of you I will be coming here all the time

You see the attitude is what gives the business an image ..

imagine if I was rude or saucy that guy will spread his experience

A happy customer tells 10 people

And unhappy customer tells 100 people

I hope you all learnt something and use it to improve your businesses and career.

Cause a lot of people are not getting promoted because of their attitude to their job

My daughter just graduated from primary school and got admitted into secondary school, and we got talking about how great it has being and I used it to analyze life and how the stages of growth

You know in life we grow Stage by stage you know a lot of times people want to skip the stages but it doesn’t work that way because at every category there is something to learn

To every parents I want to say a big thank you for being there for your children for providing for them for making out time to be with them I know every child is grateful even though some of them can’t express how they feel what you’re really grateful and please matter how the child is doing academically support the child

To every child out there we are proud of you,

You are doing an amazing job and I know u will do better.

In life we all must go through a process and the process is to grow.

In life you go through stages for growth

Let me share this with you based on request from a listener in Kenya , he said he lost his son to cerebral palsy, it’s a kind of cancer ,

He said he wants me to share his story and use it to talk to other people who are probably going through a hard time with a sick child or a child with disability.. to encourage them because it is not an easy journey, he said to there is still hope of you have faith

So I asked him how he coped , and he said truthfully the stigmatization alone can push a person into depression , he said when he went out out with child, ppl use to look at him like he wore cancer on his body, I actually can relate to that ,

This man in question was a single father to a sick child , I can’t imagine how he had to deal with that phase of his life , well life is a teacher he said you know how it is cancer is an expensive sickness , and nobody to help

He lost the child eventually and said pls he would love to encourage someone through this platform, pls don’t give up God didn’t leave you, your faith will speak testimony for u

I told him my my story too

son had a health challenge which was scoliosis, (which is a topic I am going to teach about soon on this podcast)

you know nothing as painful as seeing a child who you gave birth to, who was very ok, physically and suddenly something comes up and the doctors tell you it’s this is the issue

It destabilizes you, it puts you in a state of confusion , because you don’t know how this happened , you will start asking god why me?

At first I was confused, I was scattered, I was depressed

# When I came to realize god was for me I realize it was a lesson , it was a story , it was a life god wanted me to use to talk to others who would go thru that situation or something similar in life

like a child who is sick

Like a child who is autistic

A child who is blind

A child who has Down syndrome

A child who is disabled

A child who is handicapped

A child who is going through phase and the parents are somewhere saying oh god I am confused

The truth is every child has their story , every child has its life

I know it’s painful , I know it’s devastating to see a child who you have birth to , a child that was looking so fine , so healthy and everyone was saying wow this child is gonna do good and big things ,

I know the feeling I know the trauma when you have a child who has a health challenge, I know exactly how it feels , I remember sometimes I am driving and I see young boys who are tall and straight walking on the road , sometimes I just bust out crying and say to myself God why do I have to go thru this, because at that time my son was bending to one side , which was as a result of the scoliosis so I know what I am saying when i tell you I know how it feels when ur child is having a challenge. someone,

I really want to use my platform to speak to ppl

To give them hope to encourage them I might not have money all the time do help ppl , but there is nothing as good as words of encouragement

Pls if you have a friend whose child is going through a health challenge, reach out to them, encourage them, pray for them it’s not easy ..

They might look like that are not going through anything, but trust me a lot of time they need encouragement for that child ,

Instead of gossiping about the child , or spreading rumor about the child, or some ppl will start announcing to other like this (do you know that my friend pikin get this kind sickness?) call them tell them my friend god will give you strength, god is there for you , it is well with you , don’t worry god will take care of this child.

A Single mother’s struggle

Today I am talking to single mothers, and maybe my next edition I will talk to single fathers

There seems to be this stigma that goes with being a single mother, some people make it look like a plaque, OH SHE DIDNT MARRY, na wa ooo, are you sure she even knows the father of the child?

Can the society stop this ? Can people stop this

Being a single mother is a choice , a choice she had to make for herself and her child or children

Some of this women were raped and they ended up pregnant and still decided not to abort the child despite the pain they had to go through, they saw something good in their situation and embraced it.

I have to say this , There is a lady I know who is a single mother, she was married and the husband left her immediately she had a child who had Down syndrome, and she always complains to me me BLESSING PEOPLE BLAME ME FOR BEING A SINGLE MOM, and she said sometimes she wonders how is this my fault..

Please we all as humans need to do better and stop this castigating, stop the discrimination. Especially our fellow women na we do am pass

Stop it .

So today I am talking to single mothers and I want them to give us an insight to how the world see being a single mother

say how did you become a single mother?

Do you get any emotional support from family and friends?

What’s your biggest struggle about being a single mother?

What do you think is some of the misconception people have about being a mother, a young single mom for that matter

What are the things you think people should stop saying about single mothers?

What advice do you have single mothers who are struggling to make ends meet ?

Single mothers pls take care of yourself, stay positive always , don’t feel guilty for anything

Remember to praise your child and help your child know what to expect on the journey of life

Give the single mother or father a break, mind ur own life and mind ur business, how they got to that point isn’t your business.. and to every single mother I applaud you, I know it’s not easy doing the job of two parents, may God keep you to enjoy the fruit of your labour

What a single parent want to hear is

You are doing great

Your kids will be fine

You will be ok

You are enough

Single moms are often faced with tough challenges, specific to raising a child on their own

But study has shown that single moms are just as happy and married women or even better than married woman , that’s after research was done , no be me talk am ooo

This took a lot of emotion from me to say this

But I call a spade a spade because a lot of marriages are still damaging their child/children mentally and emotionally

I had to take some self development courses to realize how much damage I would have done to my children at the end of the day, in life we all face challenges, but every one has their limit to pain and anguish

Growing up I didn’t experience love n affection as a family and I really wanted that badly for my children, and not getting it made me frustrated like I was living in my past..

You as a parent going through a bad time in your marriage or career and it’s pushing you to the level where you pour it on your child?

Take a deep breath and relax,

I speak today because I know a lot of marriages that still do this to their children, please stop it and work with your partner, let’s stop the circle of abused adults.. a circle of men and women who were abused verbally and emotionally because of what their father did or what their mother did ..

People say hide what you are going through, that is how depression started..

please parents we can help our children to be better adults

What was ur passion to become a brain and spine surgeon ,

When do you think people should seek help for their brain, because I had a friend who died from brain hemorrhage , is that something that can be operated on?

a lot of people especially Nigerians don’t know anything about this please can you educate us on scoliosis because now a lot of children seem to be having the symptoms and some people don’t know what to do and a lot of them don’t know where to go to , you know I have always been an ambassador for your work because I have had firsthand experience

Do you think scoliosis could affect a child’s mental health ?

I mean do you think it could affect them psychologically ?

Does scoliosis affects the internal organs ?

like the lungs the kidneys the hearts I know it actually curves the rib cage you know cause from my son own I noticed his rib bones were almost changing shapes before you did his surgery

What about people with stroke? Is there hope for them at BASS ? you know my dad actually has stroke so I have always been thinking is this something he can recover from does he need any kind of surgery is that something you can educate us about

And I am sure our young listeners would love to know how the journey to being a brain and spine dr was .. was it fun all the way ? Did you ever have any challenges in your choice of career ?

If you don’t do anything in this life

Always pray to marry right, marriage now seem like the weapon of destruction for a lot of men and women, families torn apart , children’s life destroyed, hearts broken ..

and you will ask your self how did we get to this , how did we get to this level..

you will wonder how a man who was doting over you and was trying to win your attention and love when you were single now doesn’t give a damn about you..

It still surprises me how marriages get to that level, did the love die? Did he stop seeing the things that used to be there? Was there really love in the first place?

How will a man marry a woman and decide to torture her emotionally and make her go thru so much pain…

I know people say men suffer emotionally in marriages too, but I can categorically say it is more for women..

is marriage ever gonna be a joyful thing like a lot of ppl dream it should be?

I say this because I went to see my friend who is a barrister, I went to do an affidavit and she took me round the secretariat , and we talked and I realized more and more marriages are breaking daily

Do you know when she took me to the screen where they displayed cases , out of 10 cases

6 were divorce cases.. my heart broke.. this took me to a friend whose husband woke up after more than 20yrs of marriage with 4 kids he said he wanted a divorce cos he met a young girl of 22yrs … oh how my friend cried and wept , she was heart broken, she said blessing this man took my youth where do I start from.. but I am so grateful because the court ruled in her favor and she was handsomely rewarded for the wasted years…

And after years the man has spent with his new young wife he is begging my friend to accept him back, that it was a mistake !

who does that ? She went through hell to get her heart back in one Piece and now u want to come and destroy the one she has put together because now she looks better than she was when he left her

Listen a woman is not a dumping ground for badly behaved men..

Hello woman have you be heart broken, are u still putting the pieces of your heart together from the betrayal and lies , from the emotional torture and the cheating and disappointment he put you thru..

In all sincerity I know how heartbreaking it is for the one who promised to be there for you, to love you and treat you right to be the one who stabbed you the most .. trust me you will heal just give yourself time, you are stronger than you think and believe me it is not the end of the world .. I know the years you wasted is never gonna come back but remember it was for a lesson and experience of life .. be strong my queen ..

And to the men, you can’t be married and single at the same time, if you can’t be a husband please leave the woman alone for the right man to see her and treat her like the queen that she is , don’t go into someone’s life with the intention to damage them..

I was born over 40yrs ago in Nigeria

I experienced going to Sch with slates and chalks , I experienced sitting on the bare floor in a class room without tables or chairs

And just yesterday I saw a picture online of a school in rivers state where some children were in school without a roof and they sat on the bare floor , I remember those when I use to say in the nearest years Nigeria will be like London ..

I was just angry, as in wtf , how can something that happen led over 40yrs ago still happen that means the country is undeveloped ,

A country so rich and yet so poor

A country with all the good resources that God has blessed us with has suddenly become our greatest nightmare

A country that lacks good education is heading for destruction because the minds of the illiterate will be manipulated,

Lack of good education is heading for doom

And this politicians know this that is why they want that side of the development dead..

they send their children abroad and kill the system here ..

Let me tell you something sins and satan isn’t the problem of us humans , what God hates most is ignorance

The other day I read in the news osibanjo said Nigerians should be praying , that the dark cloud will soon give way for a new Nigeria ,

is it prayer we came to do on earth ? If someone is praying not for things that we a know shouldn’t be there in the first place

Look at the level of insecurity

Look at the killings

Look at the kidnapping

Look at the education sector, the hostels look like open prisons

Look at our hospitals

university we call federal university,

See the level of poverty and hunger

A place where the police is now ur biggest fear cos you don’t know if they are for u or against you…

God when will all this end !!!

I remember my husband said something and In my head I was like abi this guy dey kolo , he said the north was the best place to go to Sch that if he had his way he would have sent our kids there , in my head I was like abi this guy no dey live for this naija ? Abi him get amnesia 😂😂 whose child u for send , abeg no be my own children, this one wey boko haram dey enter schools to go pack children as if say them keep the children for them to carry .. God forbid..

Imagine an outbreak of cholera in the north and I saw children on drips and were kept on the bare floor , in the same country where politicians fly out of the country for medical checkups , what kind of wicked heart do this pol have

Don’t blame our brothers and sisters who risk their life daily to even use road go abroad .. a lot of them die on those journey, that one na story for another day, if their country good them no go run na .. our politicians turn the country to their personal money making machine.. so sad

My younger brother had a first class from uniben and had a masters and had no job , he was eventually able to get a teaching job with peanut salary that wasn’t even enough to feed his family, one day he decided to relocate with his family to canada , as I am speak right now he already got a very good paying job in Canada got a house and everyday he says sister I made the best decision of my life

Nigeria is gradually killing the dreams of young men and women of this country, a country where the youths are not expected to be rich , this old ppl don’t even know times have change and the use of social media is giving ppl money ..

We use all our energy to pray for a better country meanwhile there are countries where they don’t even have religions and they are progressing,

Nigeria is struggling, the name NIGERIAN is now like a stain on our identity.. haba why na politicians why the greed and wickedness, why deprive the generation you are leading be in so much pain,

A woman’s friend

Is a woman’s enemy

this life how can a friend poison her friend that accommodated her, how can you be that wicked to let jealousy make you go that far? someone who open door make you enter her house.

So this is for all my young ladies out there all my young ladies especially why am I saying all my young ladies because a lot of times your enemy is your friend

So I went to one estate here in port harcourt to sell some of my hair care products so when I got there, I met one lady whose sister is in the hospital because her sister was poisoned by her friend who she tried to help after a breakup.

A woman’s friend Is a woman’s enemy

You see this life, just be very careful with the people you surround yourself with , imagine out of jealousy a friend made her friend trend with the tag that the babe ha HIV

This life one has to be careful

What if that girl committed suicide because of that viral gist about her having HIV? If na death na so the girl for don die

Thank God the girl is strong enough to face it, some people who are not emotionally strong would break down , some people were scared that she might even commit suicide..

I was so worried until a friend sent me her video when she went to the hospital to do test that she was HIV negative
