In this episode I speak about why I run mental health events and I include a snippet from a previous episode I did with Benny where he speaks about what 2 Minute Mates is
We do this because we believe in the power and importance of conversations, and because we need to start taking action, not just personally, but as a community
April 9 I'll be speaking alongside my man Benny Lucas from 2 Minute Mates
The event is called 'Friday Knock Off' and will be held at an amazing rooftop bar in Surry Hills and hosted by Local Health Projects
Balter will be supplying beer and we'll be providing snacks
You can purchase tickets HERE
Please share this around guys. We need more people to here our message and learn the best ways to have the right conversatioans.
Much love everyone :)

I sat by the computer contemplating whether of not to release this one, however I know that If I want to continue to promote the right messages, I had to do it
My birthday - as incredible as it was - brought up some shit for me. I had severe anxiety and I feel it stemmed from a struggle with self love
I know many can relate as I've heard many people speak about their battles with anxiety when all eyes are on them. It sucks and is amazing how much of an impact anxiety can have on your body
As per usual, I get pretty deep in this one, so If you can relate and if you're struggling at the moment, reach out to me and I can point you in the direction of some fantastic professional help OR call Life Line on 13 11 14
If you're enjoying these episodes feel free to give me some love by sharing it around or rating and reviewing on iTunes :)

I give advice based on my experiences and one of the things i'm asked about most is parenting. SO yes, I feel I have every right to give parenting advice (even though you didn't even ask)
In this episode I speak about what I believe is the #1 thing kids need from parents. I feel that if you master this basic bit of advice appropriately, you can make massive progress, not just in your kids lives, but in your own
If you're not a parent and have no intention in being one, this episode will still be beneficial. I believe that parenthood teaches patience and if we learn how to deal with a child who's yelling at you and not doing as they're told, the most difficult conversations in life can be made a bit easier
If you like this episode please send it across to anyone you feel may benefit from it. It would also mean the world if you could head over to iTunes and rate and review the podcast when you get the chance :)
Thanks legends!

Growing up on the streets of South-East London, Dan Megson had a childhood you'd think is only seen in movies.
As Dan puts it: "I was kinda f*cked from the start"
Dan's story is one of violence, abuse, addiction, no contact with his parents and nothing but the drive to escape..
Not to worry though, it's not a story of doom and gloom. More the opposite. It's a story of a young man on a mission to turn his life around. In fact, Tomorrow (March 2) he will be celebrating 1 year sober
Dan is one of the greatest people I've met and I'm not only grateful for his time, but for his friendship
As I preach so regularly - "Everything in life happens for a reason" and I believe Dan has wondered into my life for a reason
If you enjoy this episode please share it around and don't forget to give me a rating and review on iTunes :)
What a story and what a way to celebrate 50 episodes..
Enjoy boys and girls ;)
