Acting icon Eric Roberts spills the tea, clears up rumors about his relationship with his famous sister, Julia Roberts, gets emotional about his daughter, Emma Roberts, and shows why he's so reliant on his wife, Eliza.
You'll see Eric start to tear up and cry when he opens up about his daughter, Emma Roberts, and get uncomfortable when he's asked about something very personal - being abused.
Eric and I talk about women and empowerment and you'll hear Eric say things like "women are nicer to work with because they are more thoughtful …even the bitches" and "show business is cruel and unforgiving."
Eric opens up about his difficult childhood and how he overcame stuttering. Eric tells stories about fame, Sir Lawrence Olivier and what his close friend Christopher Walken taught him about being a celebrity.
Eric also gets emotional about one celebrity's tragic end. And how hard it was to write his memoir, Runaway Train: Or, The Story of My Life So Far.

I'm back at Cesar Millan's Dog Psychology Center in Southern California for an updated talk with the Dog Whisperer. Well, kind of the Dog Whisperer. That name is part of a legal battle that you'll hear more about right now, as my son Charlie and I set up cameras and voice recorders and hang out with Cesar and his dog pack at the magical place where dogs live the good life.
This is Cesar's 5th time on Really Famous. Almost as many as Tim Daly. But not quite. (More on that soon.)
In today's talk, Cesar opens up about why he went to Will Smith for help. Yep. Will Smith. Cesar also reveals why he and Jada Pinkett Smith have a one-of-a-kind friendship. Cesar talks about who he's dating now, the struggles he's been dealing with lately, and why he'd never repeat the relationship his parents have.
Oh and I ask him about rumors swirling around him – because word on the street is that Cesar Millan is in prison. Or worse.
Next up on Really Famous, amped up with lots of new content for you:
SPIKE LEE! Yep. But it's not the kind of talk you've heard elsewhere. And that's an understatement. Because this time Spike is across the table from me. And so it's NOT what he's used to.
Plus A big talk with Eric Roberts, one of the most prolific actors out there. Of COURSE I ask him about Julia Roberts. And of course he opens up. We also talk about a personal problem that's taken him years of therapy to figure out.
Later this month, you'll hear from someone totally different from anyone who's been on the show. She has a big story to tell. And it involves someone you know.
Tim Daly as well -- a brand new talk we just recorded! -- for the first time in LA instead of New York.
Michael Emerson too. And many more. It's getting exciting over here, friends.
This podcast is also on YouTube, by the way. Which, as it turns out, is now the #1 place where people get their podcasts. Did you know that?!? Surprising, right? AND a ton of people watch podcasts on YouTube podcasts on their TVs. They may be doing something in the background, like cooking or cleaning or catching up on emails, I'm not entirely sure. But it's pretty cool. So if you want to give that a try, head to YouTube.com/ReallyFamous. You'll see a bunch of playlists on my channel, including one that says PODCAST. Click play and boom, you're in.
And you'll see many more videos with my celebs as well. It's a smorgasboard. Take anything you like! And enjoy!
Here's Cesar Millan. Talk to you next week on the podcast. And even sooner on YouTube and my socials if you visit me there.
Cheers!

This video is not and does not represent an actual therapy session. It is a podcast, for entertainment purposes only. If you need to talk, call 988. You are not alone. https://988lifeline.org The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline understands that life's challenges can sometimes be difficult. Whether you're facing mental health struggles, emotional distress, alcohol or drug use concerns, or just need someone to talk to, their caring counselors are here for you.
Jon Cryer is a candid truthteller and conversationalist! If you saw the new Charlie Sheen Netflix documentary, aka Charlie Sheen, you know what I'm talking about. Hang out with the Pretty in Pink, Two and a Half Men, Supergirl actor and me for a talk filled with inside Hollywood stories about the Brat Pack, Charlie Sheen, Demi Moore and more. Find out who Jon dated, who rejected him, why he almost quit the business and why having a therapist as the host of this show is just perfect.
This talk is from 2024. I'm re-releasing it today because of (1) the doc and (2) there's been wrinkle in my plan to kickoff my lineup of brand-new episodes starting today. It involves hiring a team to help and it not quite running according to plan. These things happen. It's frustrating. But it's life. Gotta fix it and move forward.
The new lineup will indeed kick off soon. Just not today.
So please enjoy Jon Cryer in the meantime.
Coming soon: Many new episodes, including Cesar Millan, Eric Roberts and Kaja Sokola, who testified against Harvey Weinstein in his recent New York City trial.
Thanks for listening.

Hi friends, welcome back to Really Famous. It's been a minute, I know. Thank you for sticking with me when my release schedule got, shall we say, a bit looser than usual. Well, I'm here with good news. I'm back with more content than ever. While you've been waiting patiently for new episodes to appear in Apple Podcasts or Spotify or whatever your preferred podcast app is (thank you!), I've been busy behind the scenes.
First, I partnered with YouTube. They connected me with an in-house YouTube pro, put me through a few boot camps and welcomed me into their YouTube creator community.
I also recruited top talent working with very successful podcasters to help me give you even more rich conversations with fascinating people than I did before.
You'll get new podcasts every week. Plus extra bonus videos on YouTube. On Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, you'll see new footage and clips and insights on the regular. It's the same podcast. Same vibe. Same me. But it'll feel like we're hanging out more. Welcome back.
The first new episode is next week. I'm back at Cesar Millan's Dog Psychology Center in California for an updated talk with the Dog Whisperer himself. Well, kind of the Dog Whisperer. The name is part of a legal battle that we'll get an update on. Cesar also opens up about why he went to Will Smith for help. Yep. Will Smith. Cesar talks about who he's dating now. Later this month, you'll hear from someone totally different from anyone who's been on the show. She has a big story to tell. And it involves someone you know.
Today I'm releasing this talk Anthony LaPaglia and I had a couple of years ago. It seemed to get lost in the shuffle and it's too good to go under the radar. So I'm putting it out there for you as a "welcome back" sort of thing. I'm into it. I think you will be too.
It's also on YouTube, by the way. This episode is a whole vibe. You're about to hear me and the incredible Aisha Tyler sip margaritas, get real about life, and dive into everything from Hollywood survival to starting over. You'll laugh, you may nod your head a lot, and you may even get emotional.
Aisha's not just the talented actor, stand-up comedian and host you know from "Criminal Minds" and now "Criminal Minds Evolution" plus "Archer," "The Talk," and "Whose Line Is It Anyway." Aisha's also the founder of a premium cocktail company Losophē (we drink a cocktail on-air and you can see photos of Aisha preparing our margaritas on my Instagram, TikTok and YT channel at @karamayerrobinson). Aisha Tyler is also a director, a therapist's dream client, and quite possibly your new favorite philosopher.
Aisha opens up about divorce, therapy, imposter syndrome, starting a business from scratch, and the beautiful, messy truth about chasing dreams and rewriting your story at any age.
This is not just another celebrity chat. It's a heart-to-heart packed with honest moments, laugh-out-loud moments, and deep wisdom.
If you've ever felt stuck, scared to fail, or unsure if you're "doing life right," this one's for you.
You can watch Criminal Minds and CM: Evolution now on Paramout+. All seasons are streaming now, including the newest 18th season. And up soon is season 19. Yes, 19!
