In this episode of the podcast, I reflect on my time spent growing up in the pub & restaurant as well as the different type of people that used to come in. I noticed in there that there was a huge difference between those who aged "poorly" and the ones who were aging healthy.
Much of it had to do with the mindset they had towards life.

In this episode of the podcast, we look at a case study I had recently where a lady had a massive back flare-up, even though she was doing everything right?
We speak on how this can happen and what was happening in this specific case. We also look at the emotional element of pain, dealing with this side of it and how to offload some of these emotions to improve your pain.
We explore the idea of conflict, relationships & environment on the body and on back pain specifically.
This is a direct case study that we recently had in the Spine Initiative Course. Check it out today to get started on you path back to exercise - www.spineinitiative.com.

In this episode, we take a deep dive into pain tolerance and pain understanding. The better you understand your pain the less of a grip it has on you. However, the opposite is also true, the less you know about sensitivity the more control recurring and consistent pains have over your habits & behaviours.
We explore how the body responds to injury, pain sensitivity and much more in this eye-opening episode. Dive into the world of pain and start to understand and fix the problems you've been dealing with for too long.

In this episode, we're diving into the curious world of sham surgeries in research and what they can teach us.
Imagine a surgeon walking a patient through every step of a procedure, but no actual changes happen in the targeted area. What's fascinating is the profound impact this seemingly "pretend" surgery can have on a patient's pain levels and overall function—both right after the mock surgery and in the crucial follow-up months.
What would this teach us about pain?
Are some surgeries just a mock?
Do you actually need surgery, or is there something you can do instead?
