 Today’s podcast we focused on healthy nutrition in our children.  I have learned that for children to be healthy, you as a mother need to be healthier since that child will be in your womb for approximately 280 days or 40 weeks.  Everything you eat gets transferred to your unborn child.  We need to eliminate processed foods and stick to a clean plant-based diet if possible.

Milan S. Robinson a Holistic Nutritionist from Taylor, MI. I am a mother to an amazing 3yr old little girl. As well as a wife to my fantastic husband of 7yrs. All of us are whole food plant base vegans on our own personal journey to achieve optimal for our family.
 In addition I am the founder of Nourishing Naturally, where I focus on the optimal health for children. I assist parents that have a history of chronic illness that run in their family, transition their children to a whole food plant base diet, to avoid the health outcomes they have previously experienced. That is exactly what I have done with my daughter to extend the longevity of my child and other children yet to come.

I started this podcast to educate others that disease can be reversed by the food we eat or better the foods we avoid.  I hope this helps you do your research and get guidance to eat better and live better.

Recently, there was a shortage of baby formula which after doing my research, baby formula was recalled by the FDA.  There is also a lawsuit called NEC.  “Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is a rare but serious intestinal disease that’s most common in premature infants, especially those fed baby formula. NEC causes inflammation that leads to bacterial infections and intestinal tissue damage that could be fatal.  This lawsuit pertains to all Similac and Enfamil formulas." (1)

Today's episode is for everyone especially if you have elderly family members.  Living in Boca Raton, Florida I come across many elderly individuals that are alone now from 80’s to 90’s years old.  Most people came to this city to retire since the beach is accessible 7 days a week and every day of the year.  The city of Boca Raton, Florida has grown since I arrived in 2000.  It is not just a retirement town, it’s a thriving, live city with much to offer for all.  

The other day I met my special guest, Paul Solomon at the studio and we began to talkind.  Since he mentioned his father had dementia and recently died it connect us immediately.  I am a caretaker too, taking care of my mother and aunt.  We live together now since 2020 after the world stood still for a bit.  I have learned you must adapt everyday in your life since there is no exact science that our day will be the same daily.  I have never had two days alike in my life, have you?

In December, my whole household became ill with the Covid virus.  None of us were ready for this. Both my mother and aunt had to be hospitalized due to pneumonia.  I was told by the hospital personnel that I had no rights regarding them without proper paperwork.  I had a health proxy for which saved me many headaches even though I still had some issues due to lack of knowledge by the hospital staff.
