Today, we speak to Nagi Maehashi. Nagi’s the marvel behind the wildly successful food blog Recipe Tin Eats. Her passion and dedication to crafting simple yet delicious everyday meals are adored by millions of people worldwide, and just last year, her cookbooks Dinner and Tonight topped Australia’s highest-selling book charts. 

In this conversation, Nagi speaks about quitting her full-time job in corporate finance to pursue her passion for cooking and why it’s never too late to make a career change. She also shares the moment she knew she was onto something, the five ingredients you should have on standby at all times and what her Mum, Yumiko, has taught her about the art of cooking.
