On today’s episode of Founded we’re finding out about General Thomas Gage and the Quartering Act that was bothering New Yorkers back in 1766. There was a liberty pole, a sons of liberty remix, and a whole lot of drama. The Stamp Act may have been repealed but the colonists still weren’t willing to cooperate with crown authority.
