Realistic Goals: I explain how to set achievable goals and the importance of re-evaluating them. I discuss the pitfalls of setting unrealistic expectations and how they can hinder your progress.
Journey Over Destination: I emphasize the importance of focusing on the journey rather than just the end goal. This shift in perspective can truly transform your approach to health and fitness.
Building Sustainable Habits: I offer advice on starting with small steps and gradually building habits that last, emphasizing the power of incremental progress.
Mental Health Matters: I discuss the critical role of mental health and maintaining a positive mindset throughout your fitness journey. The way we talk to ourselves is incredibly important.

You’ve started your weight-loss journey, and you’re doing all the right things - exercising, eating well-balanced meals, and getting more sleep. You’re excited to finally see the fruits of your labor, so you step on the scale, but... something's wrong. The scale went up!! How could this be?! You’ve worked so hard and for nothing! Or… is there more to the story?
In this episode, I’m covering the all-too-common scenario in which the scale doesn’t reflect your efforts. In reality, the scale isn’t painting a holistic picture of what’s happening with your body. Some amazing transformations are happening behind the scenes while you make positive changes for your health.
This episode is a must-listen for anyone feeling discouraged by what their scale is telling them. I address concerns many have about weight fluctuations despite adopting healthier habits and how to measure progress beyond the scale.

If you haven't already experienced this, it will happen. At some point in your fitness journey, you'll feel like quitting. You’ll likely find yourself ‘too busy’ to work out, ‘too tired’ to avoid the drive-through, or ‘too weak’ to avoid the cravings.
So, what should you do?
Remember the real reason you started - your 'why'. This could be a desire for confidence, more energy, or the wish to enjoy longevity with your children. However, there's one key ingredient: it MUST be powerful. It needs to be a feeling deep in your core, something that drives you to make a change even when motivation fades.
In this episode, I share my secret to long-term success in my fitness journey, hoping to inspire you to do the same. After listening, I challenge you to take some time for yourself to really think about your 'why'. Write it down and keep referring back to it whenever you feel like giving up.
