California Governor Gavin Newsom challenged Donald Trump over GOP-led redistricting in Texas, threatening to redraw California’s congressional maps to “neutralize” Republican gains. Newsom mocked Trump online, issued a public letter, and warned of a press conference announcing a counter-strategy to protect Democratic control and “end the Trump presidency.”
