Maybe the best part of the entire day other than the win was the vibe in the stadium and with all the fans.  The vibe was an A+ as legends returned, celebrities were abound and fans packed the stadium.

One thing we’re questioning on the field was EB’s game plan.  Did he call too many pass plays?  Or too few screens?

We took a look at all 6 sacks of Sam Howell.  How many were his fault?  How many on the offensive line.  We break it down in our Sam Session

It wasn’t pretty as the Commanders were a 7 point favorite and only won by 4 points.  The offense, led by Sam Howell had some moments but was basically stymied as the Arizona defense had 6 sacks and also scored a touchdown

However, the Commanders defense was dominating, especially in the 2nd half as they held the Cardinals to 16 total points but only gave up 9.

Nathan and Stoner have their instant reactions on the game.  Let’s goooooooo!

Former NFL tight end Ed Smith and Javon Adams seem to have pretty low expectations for this year.  They refuse to use the tank word but they know they’re in for a long season.  They hope the team comes out better on the other end

As for this game, nobody is giving the Cardinals too much of a chance as they don’t have enough talented players on either side of the ball.  The quarterback situation is a mess but they hope to have Kyler Murray back at some point.

The owners of the Washington Commanders, mainly Josh Harris, Mark Ein, Mitchell Rales and Magic Johnson were interviewed at the Economic Club in DC and had some very encouraging comments about the sale, the name, personnel decisions, the stadium, Ron Rivera and much more

The Commanders practiced on Thursday inside the bubble as a storm passed through Ashburn.  Terry McLaurin was a full participant but Chase Young was again limited.  The team keeps saying that Chase is ready but still needs to get cleared by the doctor.  Why is it so hard to get cleared by the doctor?!
