For this episode, I will be focusing on the first documented race nationalism. The rise of the earth born or Autochthon and how this word combines Plato and the Ancient Greeks. I will go over some mythology on Hephaestus and Gaia and as usual, leave you with more questions than answers.

This episode I thought I would break down the different theories with Plato’s 9000 years ago statement. I will be reading to you some very well put together thoughts on the subject from atlantipedia.ie. They have their own sources cited and I shouldn’t have to reinvent the wheel when it has already been done by people who are arguably smarter than me on the subject.

This episode I thought I would share with you a nugget I found about three years back while visiting Nashville Tennessee. This is where I went to visit the replica Parthenon and was trapped in a hotel with little to do.

Michael Hubner was a was a German researcher who presented to the 2008 Atlantis Conference in Athens, a carefully reasoned argument for placing Atlantis in North-West Africa on the Souss-Massa plain of Morocco. He has gathered and organized a range of geographical details and other clues contained in Plato’s text,which he maintained lead inexorably to Morocco.

Hübner also published a number of video clips on his website in support of his theory. He begins with a lucid demonstration of a Hierarchical Constraint Satisfaction (HCS) approach to solving the mystery. These clips offer a body of evidence which are perhaps the most impressive that I have encountered in the course of many years of research.

Tragically, Michael Hübner died in December 2013 as a result of a cycling accident. He left a valuable contribution to Atlantis studies. Mark Adams met Hübner shortly before his death, so in March 2015 when Adams  book, Meet me in Atlantis, was published, the ensuing media attention probably gave Hübner’s theory more publicity than when he was alive!

This episode focuses on that vast garden that belonged to Hera. I am not sure why the garden is more attributed to the daughters of Atlas and Hesperis but this is definitely Hera’s garden. Remember, Clieto had a grove of trees too. Do you think there is a correlation? I often go back and forth between that idea.

This episode will focus on the lost city of Sais as Plato isn’t the only person who has this story. Presumably the Egyptians still have their copy, written in stone. Perhaps we don’t have to drill a hole in the sphinx's right paw to find a hidden passageway to a hall of records touted by Edgar Cayce fans. What if the lost city of Sais is preserved perfectly under water?

This episode digs just a bit deeper into the past and present festivals around the area.  Of course, there is a bit of mythology thrown in to explain it. You will learn about the fight between Athena and Pallas and learn a new character called Ate. It isn't in my podcast but I just reheard and remembered that Perseus, after visiting the Graiai (Graeae), threw their eye in Lake Triton further solidifying that Medusa was near the Atlas mountains when Perseus killed her. 

I personally think that this Chott was Lake Triton and that there was a River Triton that flowed within the Maghreb.

This episode, I discuss how Heracles and the Amazons fates were intertwined. I briefly talk about the Libyan Amazons and then discuss what happened after Queen Myrina and her sisters. I feel like it is important to understand what was going on in history with these myths. This way we can figure out what the ancient writers meant and what the climate was like. 

For this episode, I want to explore what happened to the Amazons in depth. I used my own unpublished book on the amazons which used the work of Diodorus, Herododus, Homer, Hesiod, Strabo, Herodian, Plato, Arctinus, and Apollonius.  I have been working on this for over 3 years now. I am not sure it will ever be done.

This episode I read over Hanno's translated voyage notes as well as the accompanying scholarly notes. Hanno was a Carthaginian explorer who set out from Carthage and sailed past the pillars to explore the Atlantic coast of Africa. The city of Cerne makes an appearance and you can decide if it is the same Cerne of Diodorus's account of the Amazons. 

For this episode, I am going to go over a famous harbor city that suddenly disappeared from history. It has been referenced as another possible location for Atlantis and has been examined by archaeologists for years. Tartessos. To accomplish this, I am going to use the help from the following authors:

Herotodus - Known as the father of history, endeavored to create an encyclopedia on world history.  Living from around 484 BCE - 425 BCE. He died around the time that Plato was born.

Plato - a classical Greek intellectual who is our primary source for Atlantis. Living roughly around 425 BCE. Atlantis was written in 360 BCE.

Ephorus - was an ancient Greek historian known for his universal history living from roughly 400 BCE – 330 BCE

Arrian - was a Greek historian, public servant, military commander and philosopher of the Roman period. Living from 86/89 CE  after 146/160 CE
