We need to be people of FAITH. Here is an acronym to remember what FAITH means to us. Are you a person of FAITH?
F=Faithful . . . Be consistent in things we say are important. Our walk should be consistent with our talk. God calls us to be consistent. Hebrews 11:1 gives us a definition of faith.
A=Available . . . God will call us to do things we may not think we can do. Examples: Moses, David, among others, did not believe they could do the huge tasks that God called them to do.
I=Interdependent . . . We depend on other Christians and we help others who are not Christians. We do not have to go through life alone. Give help, but also accept help when needed.
T=Thankful . . . Every breath we take is a gift from God. When we look at the world today, we should understand how very thankful we must be for the ability to come to worship without oppression. Most of us have more than enough which allows us to give to others.
H=Helpful . . . We pray for those in need, provide basic needs for others, and feed the hungry. We give emotional support for those disheartened and facing illness or other tragedies in life. We can show others that we really care about them.
