When hearing 'rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances...' it can maybe sound unrealistic because our circumstances in life or our emotions that we feel don't always align with this command from the Lord through Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5. And yet, this is exactly why I was encouraged to share it with you - because that is just it - our feelings and our circumstances cannot be the determining factor of whether or not we rejoice, pray, and give thanks. Otherwise, we wouldn't do these things all of the time, we would simply do it when we felt like it. I pray that today's episode encourages you and challenges you to shift your focus onto the Lord and make the choice to praise Him and seek Him even in times when you don't feel like it.
