Today we're having a theological discussion on how Christians should treat Santa Claus. While it's not a salvation issue, there are some verses in the Bible that can give us guidance on how to view the secular holiday icon. We also consider what the 19th-century theologian Charles Spurgeon had to say about the secular side of Christmas and the fact that there actually is a real, omniscient gift-giver, and His name isn't Santa Claus.

Today we're talking to our friend and fellow BlazeTV host Steve Deace. Steve always has an update for us on the latest news about the COVID pandemic. We start off by going over some of the numbers that illustrate the consequences of bad COVID policy, like rampant mental health issues and major cognitive problems among young children who have spent the last two years trying to attend school through a computer screen. In addition to discussing COVID, the Omicron variant, and what the future of the pandemic might look like, we also talk about Steve's new book, "Do What You Believe," which outlines the importance of living in Christ while we still can. Lastly, Steve tells us about the dirty tactics the Left is using to hinder production of "A Nefarious Plot," a film adaptation of another of Steve's books.

Today we're discussing Canada's recent ban on "conversion therapy" with theologian, pastor, and Founder & President of The Ezra Institute, Dr. Joseph Boot, who lives in Canada and has been speaking out against the ban. We discuss what the law actually says and how its vague wording can be used to restrict anyone from seeking help that's based in the biblical view of sex and gender. Incredibly, not a single conservative member of the Canadian Parliament voted against this bill, showing the depths of progressive corruption in that country. We also look at a story from the U.S. in which a dedicated mother rescued her daughter from gender confusion that was spiraling out of control. Under Canada's new law, that mother would be considered a criminal.

Today we're talking about the Josh Duggar trial and how we as Christians should react when one of our own is exposed in such a way. First, we take a moment to acknowledge the disaster that occurred over the weekend in Kentucky, when tornadoes caused untold damage to people's homes. Then, we go on to discuss what happened with Josh Duggar and how his heinous behavior came to pass. We also debunk the ridiculous assertion that "purity culture" or "white evangelicalism" are to blame for Duggar's actions. Lastly, we give a reminder that reverence for children's lives is a recent development in human history and one that was only made possible through Christianity and scripture.

Today we're talking to conservative commentator and podcast host Jack Posobiec about several stories making their way around the news today. First, we discuss the bombshell reporting by BuzzFeed, of all places, that exposed the CIA's efforts to cover up unspeakable crimes committed by its own members. Unfortunately, this story is probably only the tip of an iceberg the government really doesn't want us to see. Then we talk about Ghislaine Maxwell, a former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein, who is on trial right now for allegedly helping Epstein with his own unspeakable crimes. Lastly, there's the Jussie Smollett trial, which is just falling apart for the disgraced actor in the most hilarious ways.

Today we're covering several topics, starting with the story of Lia Thomas, a transgender college swimmer who was a decent athlete as a man, but has been dominating the competition since deciding to identify as a woman. Then, we discuss New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's new vaccine mandate, which would force kids 5-11 to take the COVID vaccine and be prepared to show their papers to participate in society. Lastly, we talk to conservative writer and mother of five Bethany Mandel, editor for the "Heroes of Liberty" children's book series, which aims to give objective, historical accounts of conservative icons like Ronald Reagan and Thomas Sowell.

Today we're talking to Owen Strachan, a professor of theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary, about critical race theory and its complete incompatibility with Christianity. Recently, the Salvation Army launched its "Let's Talk About Racism" initiative, but the material in the program comes from the neo-Marxist view of CRT. Professor Strachan explains what the Salvation Army gets wrong and why the core tenets of critical race theory, which makes broad claims about oppression and racism, are totally different from the biblical definition of oppression and God's call to impartiality. We also discuss the relationship between Marxism and CRT and how this ideology pops up in society in often innocuous ways.

Today we're discussing Roe v. Wade and the case the Supreme Court is debating right now that could overturn it. The Left is going crazy over this possibility, but the reality is that abortion won't be going away if Roe is overturned. But it will allow red states to create their own pro-life laws. We look at some legal analysis of the case, how likely the court is to throw it out, and expert opinions of the consequences of overturning Roe. We also listen to some of the arguments from the justices themselves on both sides of the issue.

Today we're talking to journalist and YouTuber Sean Fitzgerald, aka Actual Justice Warrior, about the bizarre insistence that convicted killer Julius Jones is actually innocent. Jones was sentenced to death for murdering a man during a carjacking in 1999, and the facts of the case support the jury's decision to convict, even when new DNA evidence emerged almost 20 years later. Still, the governor of Oklahoma recently commuted Jones' sentence, and he will now spend the rest of his life in prison. The Left still claims that the case was tainted by racism, because of course they do, but Sean is able to debunk any argument that the "Julius Jones is innocent" crowd has. We also discuss the attack in Waukesha, Wisconsin, in which several people were killed when Darrell Brooks drove his car directly into a Christmas parade. Again, the Left is trying to cover this up or water this down because of racial beliefs, but again, the facts paint a poor picture for the suspect.

Today we're discussing COVID, the new variant, and Biden's vaccine mandate, but first we take a moment to acknowledge the landmark court case going before the Supreme Court that has the potential to overturn Roe v. Wade. Then, we get into the nitty-gritty of the newly discovered Omicron variant of COVID-19. How much worse is it than the original COVID virus? Why are countries scrambling to close travel from South Africa when we don't even know where this variant comes from? And of course, with this new development comes the repackaging of old pitches like mask mandates and lockdowns. But, some good news on the pandemic front, several judges around the U.S. are standing up to Joe Biden's vaccine mandate that the administration tried to implement through OSHA.
