Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion, or social justice; discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a religious crutch;
Continue discrediting the American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression; eliminate all good sculptures from parks and buildings, substituting shapeless, awkward, and meaningless forms.Sexual immorality is a lethal weapon! Paul reminded the Corinthians (1 Cor 10) that 23,000 people perished in a single day because of sexual sin, and these were God's chosen people.
To combat these weapons, Christians are instructed to take up the full armor of God in Ephesians 6. The struggle against Satan and his schemes are spiritual. Therefore, our armor is also spiritual. The first weapon in our armory is the belt of TRUTH. It's foundational, because the only weapon that can confront a lie is the truth, and that is exactly what Jesus spoke in Matthew 4 when tempted by Satan.
RIGHTEOUSNESS is the second weapon. It's also
foundational, as the breastplate protects the torso (the heart and vital organs) which is one of the most vulnerable parts of our body. The remaining armor include the shoes or sandals for your feet; the shield of faith; the helmet of salvation; and the sword of the Spirit.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: we are to always PRAY without ceasing, but prayer is NOT listed as a part of the armor of God. So, consider this: Why do we emphasize prayer above all other weapons??? Prayer is the predominant weapon we use as Christians. Today, more Christians are praying, fasting, and interceding for our nation versus praying for the saints that are standing against the wickedness happening in the world. YES, we are to pray, but prayer is NOT foundational to the weaponry of God. Truth and Righteousness are!
Is it any wonder why more and more religious leaders are being exposed for sexual sin. Since mid-June of 2024, five prominent Texas pastors have been exposed and have admitted for their sexual wrongdoings. Why is no one talking about truth and righteous and the lethal nature of sexual immorality? Truth and Righteousness protect us sexually.
We are NOT able to stand against evil if we are participating in it (sexual sin) regardless of how earnest and frequent we pray. We are only as strong as our weakest link. Are we praying without having prepared ourselves? If we don't know ourselves or our enemy, we will suffer defeat in every battle. This is many of those in the Church today. While we continue to pray of the
nation seeking prophetic words and reciting scripture,
the body of Christ is dropping like flies.We must have relationships in our lives where we are able to admit our struggles, particularly in the area of sex. We need to be held accountable by the strength of another believer.
Here are three (3) reasons sexual purity is a weapon of righteousness.
Sexual purity prepares you to stand against Satan by developing self-control.
Sexual purity protects our spiritual and natural bloodline from Satan.
Sexual purity promotes God's Kingdom without fighting a battle.If you are struggling with sexual immorality, YOU CANNOT FIGHT THE BATTLE YOURSELF! The full armor of God IS the strength of God that we need.
