FIRST VERSE:
As part of our #GayHistory, the conversion of AIDS is inevitable. The 80's and 90's were filled with deaths within the gay community, all due to a virus that was deemed "a gay man's disease" and therefore, never fully researched or supported. What was supposed to be an era of expression and acceptance became a time of sadness and loss. HIV and AIDS defined gay culture for a long time, and that story is our story. Thankfully, newer drugs and tons of research has made living with AIDS no longer a death sentence. Join Tony and Marko as they journey through the community's struggle with the virus and the hope we have for a future cure.
CHORUS:
“Made a wrong turn, once or twice
Dug my way out, blood and fire
Bad decisions, that's alright
Welcome to my silly life”
Conversion therapy is a controversial topic, with no exciting points. Many states have banned the practice, yet many queer lives have been deeply effected by its presence in our country. This week, Marko and Tony sit down to talk about reparative (conversion) therapy, the lack of science to prove its success, and the lasting effects it's had on the LGBTQ community.

This week, Marko and Tony are joined at the Critable by season one guest, and conversion therapy participant, Chase Nelson (The Singing Scientist). Chase (@singing_scientist) walks the guys through his journey of coming to terms with his sexuality, the decision to voluntarily seek clarity by way of reparative (conversion) therapy, and what life looks like on the other side. Movies like 'Boy Erased' ring true for hundreds of thousands of LGBT people in our country, and we are so privileged to have Chase tell the story from his very own perspective.

FIRST VERSE:
It's Pride Month, and in celebration of all things LGBTQIA+, Marko and Tony are taking a break from their weekly #GayRelationshipGoals (it'll be back July 2nd, don't worry) to bring a month of #GayHistory. This week, the guys dive into the pathology and history of homosexuality and all the rights (or lack thereof) that came with the judging of one's sexuality. The guys break down the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual)'s understanding of homosexuality and how gay and lesbian people were viewed as a whole. To make sense of where we're going, we need to better understand where we came from - and Marko and Tony try their best to make that happen, this week. Tune in to learn more! HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!
CHORUS:
“But if you can't look inside you
Find out who am I too
Be in the position to make me feel so
Damn unpretty”
Self-esteem and self confidence are not easy to come by. In a world that puts so much value on looks, salary, family life, relationships, and all other things surface and (often times) empty - how does one learn to love themselves? And, once you accomplish self-love and take a full dive into the abyss that is gay culture, where does one draw a healthy amount of self-esteem from? This week, the Critellis chat about their relationship with self-esteem, and pass along some tips and tricks to make sure you feel good about yourself.

Marko and Tony are flipping over this week's #GayRelationshipGoals, the husbands flipping houses: Tyler and Todd (@tylerandtodd). They're husbands ... they're entrepreneurs ... and they're dog dads - there is nothing they CAN'T do. With so much love and so much success, these two are great examples for the community and we are so excited to highlight them. Follow them, like their pics, and make sure you tell them the Critellis sent you - you'll be glad you did!
CHORUS:
“What's love got to do, got to do with it
What's love but a second hand emotion
What's love got to do, got to do with it
Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken”
Such a simple (and often times, overused) sentiment. But if given the chance, how would you define both the word and concept of 'Love'? This week, Marko and Tony sit down to talk about their personal definitions of the word and gather some insight from others on what it means to them. What does the word 'Love' mean to you? What does the concept of loving someone mean to you? And, do you and your (potential) partner have the same definition or concept?

After listening for such a long time, he's on the podcast ya'll! This is such a special episode and is definitely worth the listen! Make sure you tune in.

This week, Papa Chris and Papi Juan (@2_papas_in_oz), show us what being loving parents and devoted partners really means. Marko and Tony couldn't help but stop their Instagram scrolling to take a deeper dive into the wonderful life these guys have built for themselves and their children, and it because of this very reason, they are this week's #GayRelationshipGoals! Follow them on Instagram! Like their pictures, fall in love with them, and make sure you tell them the Critelli's sent you.
CHORUS:
“Time is on my side, yes it is
Time is on my side, yes it is
'Cause I got the real love, the kind that you need
You'll come runnin' back (I knew you would one day)”
Jobs, family, friends, pass times ... with all the things we have going on in our lives, how are we supposed to devote a decent amount of time to our partners? This week, Marko and Tony talk about making time to connect with your partner and discuss some very useful ways (besides sex) to jumpstart your intimacy and rejuvenate that new relationship energy. Such a good topic to listen to, if you and your partner need a refresher course - you won't want to miss this!

Ricky dishes on his very insightful celeb crush(es) - the answer will shock you, and gives some great guidance to those looking for a dating future. This is a great episode worth the listen!

This week’s #GayRelationshipGoals are Real Estate Investors (and real life grown ups) Chad and Kenny (@chadandkenny). Not only are these guys conquering the housing market, but they've also conquered an amazing relationship! They are bosses, and we instantly fell in love with them and know that you will too. Follow them on IG, like their pics, and make sure you tell them the Critellis sent you!
CHORUS:
“Love me, hate me
Say what you want about me
But all of the boys and all of the girls
Are begging to if you seek Amy”
Picture this: you have a great, solid relationship. You are in love and everything is going very well. But , for some strange reason, you can't help but getting excited when someone hits on you at the bar, or when your barista flirts with you, or when you catch someone checking you out. When your in a relationship, is it ok to seek attention outside of your relationship? Where is the cheating line drawn, and is it defined the same way by both parties? This week, Marko and Tony do their best to make sense out of a very interesting concept.

This week, one Listener wonders whether or not a new job with lots of travel (and even more money) is worth the strain it would put on his marriage. Another Listener and his boyfriend work completely opposite schedules and have little to no time to connect with one another, and wonders how to make more time for each other. Finally, a Listener goes on a vacation and returns to find out that his husband took their twins to church without talking to him about it! How should this non-denominational Christian address his Catholic husband? Or, is he overreacting? All this and more, on this month's edition of Listener Shituations!

The sinners are much more fun”
LGBTQ+ youth are dying at an alarming rate, but some would have you believe those statistics are false or “fake news”. After the news of the tragic suicide of Alabama teenager, Nigel Shelby, Marko and Tony sit down to talk about the current state of the world for queer people.
