In Part Two of our discussion of Back to the Future, we first reveal who we chose for our recasting picks, as well as share some fantastic audience picks for the roles. We then go on to contemplate how the movie plays fast and loose with the space-time continuum, and discuss whether there might be ways to tighten that up a bit in our remake, but without losing the fun nature of the original movie. We also discuss the rather creepy nature of Marty’s “relations” with his Mom, Lorraine, in 1955 (especially regarding the prom night shenanigans), Mark finds various ways to kill Marty while exploring alternate time travel scenarios, Jer contemplates a different time travel era for our remake, Lee leads a discussion about the special effect possibilities, and, finally, we talk about some of our favorite time travel movies that we think everyone should check out. (We promise that the episode doesn’t run-on like that last sentence did.)
Oh! And we reveal Lee’s real last name!
