In Part Two of our discussion of the 1980 horror classic The Shining, we reveal who our casting winners were, as well as what our next movie would be, then spend some time on some great casting feedback given by fans. Then, we dive into our discussion of what we loved about the original movie, from the Kubrick…ness…osity… of it, to the unbelivably creepy score, even touching on the ambiguity of the original, and how much of that should be maintained in a remake (especially with regards to the book upon which it is based). Finally, we talk about the role that The Shining has played in pop culture, from conspiracy theory investigations to cartoon homage/parodies, and everywhere in between.
