February is a hard month for Lexington Fire Department. It is the month the LFD lost 2 firefighters, Chuck Williams was killed on February 17, 1997 and Brenda was killed on February 13, 2004. I wanted to honor their memory by talking with some of their friends and telling some stories. I talk with Retired Battalion Chief Brian Wainscott and Retired Captain Jeff Garris. The subject matter may seem heavy but we had a blast talking about all the things that made them who they are and a few hilarious pranks. They are gone but NEVER forgotten!
