128. This week I’m delighted to introduce you to bodyworker, licensed massage therapist, and creative athlete, Lorna Skuraton. Lorna believes the human body holds innate wisdom and is capable of self-healing. It is through this framework she approaches her clients with compassion, guiding them to reconnect with their body. Listen as Lorna shares her story of struggling with anxiety, depression and feeling unsafe in her body and how learning to slow down and listen to her body had a profound effect on her health and wellbeing. We also talk about the vagus nerve, somatic healing and bodywork, why your body is not “broken,” and the importance of learning to trust yourself.
