There isn’t a shortage of distractions for online entrepreneurs these days and I’m not talking about your latest Netflix binge that’s keeping you from getting work done. What I’m addressing is more subtle. I’m talking about distractions such as the wins we see from other online entrepreneurs and the endless supply of tips and tricks available with just one click.

So in today’s episode, I’m addressing the 3 urges online entrepreneurs should resist in order to succeed. I discuss why you need to resist the urge to launch something new when you haven't successfully sold your signature offer yet, why you should stick it through with social media, and why you should resist the urge to lower your prices… even if you’ve received a few “nos”. I often feel like nobody in the online entrepreneurship space talks about the real AF highs and lows of the journey. Sometimes we catch glimpses of huge wins, and very rarely do we ever see the downside of online entrepreneurship.

Many service providers default to low-ticket offers after facing rejections on their premium prices. They also might not even offer a high-ticket offer because they’re fearful that no one will sign on.

You want to be known as a great service provider who delivers excellent work and customer service. What you don’t want to be known for, as a service provider, is being affordable. I first realized this when I was severely undercharging for my services. Although I was getting referrals left and right, I was getting them because I was affordable. Worst of all, these low-ticket clients often demanded the most time.

Unpopular opinion: your educational content doesn’t set you up as an in-demand expert. We all love a good carousel post that explains the ABCs of how to do something. These types of posts generally gain more engagement. But you’re forgetting that if you sell high-ticket or premium offers, these types of posts aren’t doing much to solve your audience’s pain points.

Like so many of you, I was once faced with the very difficult decision of quitting my full-time job. Throughout the process, I was riddled with questions and fears. Knowing when to quit your full-time job to pursue working on your own business is a choice that’s never comfortable or easy, no matter what age you are. However, if you want something different for your life, you deserve to make that choice and pursue change.

I’m sharing my personal story of how I ultimately decided to quit my full-time job and give my business my all. I share what was going through my mind and how I felt.
