Our first guest this Thursday morning is friend of the show, local political activist Paul Goldman! John and Paul discuss his thoughts and feelings about Joe Biden's fitness -- and about how the Democrats are treating him right now.
In our first hour, we discuss The SAVE Act (which the House of Representatives passed yesterday), as well as the ongoing debate regarding Joe Biden's fitness for office.
Happy "Friday Eve," fam! John begins the show today by discussing the House's passage of The SAVE Act -- and local Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan's opposition thereto (on the basis that the act constitutes "a poll tax").
On today's show, John is back behind the mic and picks up the conversation where Karen Michael and Producer Dan left off: Will Joe Biden really be the Democrats' Presidential Nominee, even at this point? Guests Rich Anderson, Mike Emanuel, and Joe Morrissey weigh in -- plus Congressman Bob Good offers a 5th District update.
We close the show with freestyle conversation generated from the Chronic Care of Richmond Textline, and John very kindly thanks Producer Dan for some WRVA housekeeping.
In our third hour, we continue to discuss what will happen with the Democrat nomination for President.
In our 8:30 half hour, we check back in with friend of the show, former State Senator and attorney Joe Morrissey. To some extent, John and Joe debate whether Joe Biden will abandon his re-election campaign -- and Senator Morrissey predicts not only a Trump victory in November, but also a landslide win.
Atop the 8 o'clock hour, we hear from our good friend (and one of the nicest people imaginable), Mike Emanuel, of Fox News! John and Mike talk about Joe Biden's status, the Veepstakes, and Project 2025 (what is that??).
In our second hour, John continues to talk about Joe Biden's fitness and European/global politics -- and asks Bob Good about the status of the 5th District Primary Race.
In what ended up being a conversation mostly about the primary race and forthcoming recount, John talked to Congressman Bob Good, who called in to the show for our 7:30 half hour.
