Happy Monday, listening family! First up among our slate of guests is former WRVA weekend host Brother Craig "The Hatchet Man" Johnson -- who observes the parallels between President Trump's trials and tribulations and those of figures from the Bible.
In the 8:30 half hour, we hear from Trump campaign spokesman and senior legal surrogate Dave Gelman, who talks to John about the Trump Team's reaction and response to yesterday's verdict(s).
Atop the 8 o'clock hour, we check in again with fellow WRVA talent, Jeff Katz, host of The Jeff Katz Show. John and Jeff further reflect on yesterday's news and forecast what the ramifications will and should be.
Next up, in the 7:30 half hour, is attorney and Republican seeking the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate Chuck Smith -- who tells John that what authorities have subjected President Trump to is not consistent with constitutional/limited-government principles.
In the wake of the guilty verdict(s) against President Trump in deep blue New York, we feature a slate of special guests suited to comment about the news this Friday morning. First among these guests is former State Senator Joe Morrissey, who critiques the charges against President Trump, as well as Judge Juan Merchan's conduct.
Tonight, John Reid hosted an hour-long, Breaking News show regarding the guilty verdict(s) in President Trump's New York trial. Joining John are his fellow WRVA show host Jeff Katz, and attorneys and former House of Delegates members Brad Marrs and Tim Anderson.
Technical Note from Producer Dan: Unfortunately, due to some unexpected computer problems, the very beginning of the hour did not survive a recording process. However, almost all of the show is preserved and begins (following a parallel, aural explanation from me) with John's interview with Jeff.
Finally this AM, we check in with Delegate David Owen -- who talks to John about the provisions in the state budget for Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program (VMSDEP).
As today is Thursday, former Virginia Governor and European Ambassador Jim Gilmore calls in for his weekly segment. John and Governor Gilmore discuss the 2024 elections, war in Ukraine, and President Trump's trial in New York.
Next up, atop the 8 o'clock hour, is attorney and former House of Delegates member Tim Anderson. John and Tim talk about the jury instructions from President Trump's New York trial, as well as Tim's campaign to be Virginia's next RNC Committeeman.
Next up, at the bottom of the 7 o'clock hour, we welcome to the show former Commandant of the Marine Corps, General David Berger. John and General Berger discuss his upcoming speaking engagement in Chester about U.S. foreign policy and national security.
