Good morning, listening fam. Today, of course, is the 80th anniversary of D(isembarkment)-Day -- so, first up this AM, we check in with Jon Decker, Correspondent for Gray TV. Jon has recently interviewed a 99-year-old D-Day veteran and talks to John about the experience.
(You can see Jon's report here.)
Finally this Wednesday morning, Kris Roberts -- one of the cast members of Beetlejuice: The Musical -- joins us in studio for a conversation about the show with John.
Atop the 9 o'clock hour, and on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of President Ronald Reagan's passing, John invites his fellow former Reagan staffer, Iain Corby, to the program -- so that both of them can reminisce about their late boss, oft termed "The Great Communicator."
At the bottom of the 8 o'clock hour, we hear once again from Jimmy Failla, host of Fox News Saturday Night. John and Jimmy enjoy -- surprise, surprise -- an hysterical conversation about this past week's headlines.
Atop the 8 o'clock hour, we check back in with local political activist Paul Goldman. John and Paul discuss the latest updates regarding Paul's filed lawsuit against the Diamond District/new ballpark project.
Next, in the 7:30 half hour, we check in with friend of the show, Senior Fellow at The Heritage Foundation, Hans von Spakovsky. John and Hans discuss President Biden's cognitive health and the errors that Hans (an attorney, remember) believes occurred in President Trump's New York criminal trial.
Happy Hump Day, listening family! First among our slate of guests this morning is Republican candidate for Congress (in Virginia's 7th District), Cameron Hamilton. John and Cameron discuss his campaign, some of the critical issues (especially the border security), and why Cameron -- a former member of the Department of Homeland Security -- favored the impeachment/removal of Secretary Mayorkas.
You can learn more about Cameron's campaign here.
Finally this Tuesday morning, for the latest installment of "Giving Tuesday," John talks to the Boy Scouts' George McGovern about a forthcoming golf tournament fundraiser for the Scouts at the Country Club of Virginia.
Next up, at the bottom of the 8 o'clock hour, we welcome Heritage Foundation Vice President John Malcolm to the show. The Johns enjoy a wide-ranging conversation about everything from the Tiananmen Square anniversary to last week's Trump verdicts to Hunter Biden's federal trial.
Atop the 8 o'clock hour, we hear once again from friend of the show -- and of John's -- Fox News' Mike Emanuel. John and Mike discuss the Trump verdicts from last week, as well as Anthony Fauci's testimony before Congress (which Mike was present for in entirety yesterday).
