Rick Hunolt

As a member of Exodus, guitarist Rick Hunolt immortalized himself on the classic, 1985 genre-defining, thrash-metal album, “Bonded by Blood.” Not to be relegated to history, he joins us to discuss his latest band, Nefarious, featuring members of Bay Area thrash titans Hirax, Death Angel and Blind Illusion. We also learn why “sh!t got real” opening for Loudness; how band mates and his love for his kids helped him conquer his addictions; why the musical exploration of Die Humane offers a new creative outlet; and who he considers to be the most underrated player in San Francisco 49ers history.
