Space Cowboys are happy to have Qdup back playing our Haunted Hoedown part Saturday Oct. 28 at Great Northern.

From the man himself "I put this mix together as I’m getting ready to come to SF and play Space Cowboy’s Haunted Hoedown at the end of the month. I just made a breaks remix of Six Shooter specifically for the Hoedown that seemed appropriate. I included it in this mix along with a bunch of breaks and house tunes that are really hitting the spot for me right now. In my experience nobody does Halloween like SF and I’m stoked to come rock with Space Cowboys and come Hoedown with you all!"

About Denver Drake:

Denver is Santa Cruz area DJ. He started DJing for family dance parties on an iPad and fell in love with all the crazy good electronic music that has been coming out for the last several years. He has done several weddings and school dances and loves to share music and show people a good time. New school house, bass house, tech house, g house, and occasionally breaks is on the menu for most of his favorite sets. He grew up listening to lots of hip hop and punk and tries to bring a level of fun and angst in every set.

What a journey this set was. Closing out Friday night, we have legendary techno DJ: Amber! As it was the closing set, this is a definite journey with hints of many genres infused into the trip. More recently, she has increasingly focused on digital releases and livestreams alongside live events.Amber co-founded NorCal DJ and Music Production Academy in San Francisco and was a resident DJ with the Sister SF collective. In the 2000s, she co-hosted :CODE, a nightlife and electronic music television show broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area. Had a blast playing on the Mog at Airpusher's 10th annual Steampunk Masquerade at Public Works. It was especially gratifying to move from boucey booty breaks into electro and then flip the tempo for some drum & bass before bringing it back down to breaks for the next DJ.

The is my 2+ hr warm up set—my actual set was much much MUCH shorter, but I captured this one to share bc more music is MOAR MUSIC! It also includes several of my original bootlegs and mashups, including the first track.

"Continuing to make a name for himself behind the decks and behind the scenes, Joey G champions a unique approach to breaks, jungle, bass, UKG and more sounds from left-field and beyond. The digging that he does for dance floor selections has garnered him unique opportunities spinning all over.

After shaking loose a love for house music on the west side with his project, Green Room, Joey has since started his label, Lots of Practice, which is quickly gaining traction for its approach to the music space.
