Rob Morgan Is A Curious Person

For years... I misunderstood what real manifestation looks like. Turns out, it's far more blue-collar than I thought...

A greenroom conversation with my buddy Steve Bosmans in Columbus, Georgia reminds me of how I defined 'Success' for years... It turns out it was extremely unhelpful.

I once heard a comedian say, “Writing a set is similar to building a playground.”

The writing and prep, that’s where the real work happens. Once you walk on stage, your only job is to embrace the play and have as much fun as possible.

It changed the way I view my job as a bassist and music director but last night, eating at one of my favorite restaurants (Tenant) with Sarah, I realized it might need to start changing the way I GO to concerts from now on too.

When I'm developing film, I don't get pissed at it for taking longer than I thought. You don't look at a flower that hasn't opened and get frustrated at the amount of time it's taking to bloom...

Why the hell do that then to ourselves and our creative journey?

Be gentle with yourself my friends, if your evolution is taking longer than you thought.

A conversation and an off-hand comment from a sommelier, a knife shop owner in East Flanders Belgium, and a couple of quotes from my favorite artists were the reminders I needed today to live on the edge of my comfort zone.

Join Sarah, our friend Eva, and myself at a pub in Gent, Belgium in the shadow of Sint-Jacobskerk as we talk about a Russian phrase that may change the way I look at every new pair of pants I ever own.
