Robby & Rexrode

We continue some of the discussion on the Titans and how they can get more out of the pass rush.  Who would we like to see make some plays?  We listen to some comments from WR Elic Ayomanor about his mindset during the week.  Training camp for the Nashville Predators is in full force with the second preseason game tonight.  What are our early thoughts on the upcoming season?  Big weekend of college football lined up as Tennessee is set to host Texas.  How are we feeling about the latest hype on Arch Manning and his pro prospects?  Robby has the Rob Rant to close the hour.

Robby and Joe begin with some thoughts on the MNF matchup from last night after the Rams took down the Giants.  New York QB Jaxson Dart was injured in the game, putting his status vs the Titans this week in doubt.  We react to some of what Titans HC Robert Saleh had to say at his press conference yesterday about the team being cautious in the red zone at the end of the game vs the Eagles.  How much does that tell us about their lack of confidence in Cam Ward?  Were we expecting more of an impact early on from rookie WR Carnell Tate?  How can they get more production from him and the entire WR room?  What about rookie DL Keldrick Faulk, and when is it fair to start seeing more plays from him?  We take your phones as always.

Cory Curtis from News 2 hops on the show for his weekly visit to share his observation from the Titans after the 24-20 loss to the Eagles.  Robby and Joe react to what Cory had to say and take your phones.  The guys share some of their biggest thoughts on the game.  How worrisome is it that the team continues to lose the time of possession so badly?  This game won't matter too much if they put up a dud vs the Giants next week.  We close the show with your final phones.

We continue the talk and your reaction to the Titans' loss to Philly.  Did we have any issues with the trash talk from Jeffery Simmons and Cam Ward?  We did see improvement from the team this week.  How did we think Ward did with his pocket presence?  How has JC Latham looked through two games?  We transition to a little college football talk after Vandy got one of the craziest wins you'll ever see, and Ole Miss took down Lane and LSU.  Joe has the Rex Rant to wrap up the hour.

The Tennessee Titans dropped game two of the season to the Eagles on Sunday, 24-20, and Robby and Joe are breaking it all down.  What did we think of the performance after the week one loss to the Jets?  Is there such thing as a 'morale victory' for the team?  Eagles QB Jalen Hurts made some key plays when it mattered most.  We take your phones.  Is there any reason to be frustrated with the officials today?  It felt like the pass rush was much better for the Titans in the second half.  It's been a rough start to the season for the AFC South, as three teams have begun 0-2 and the Jags 1-1.

ESPN Titans reporter Turron Davenport hops on for his weekly visit talking all things Titans.  What has he thoughts on the press conference this week?  What will be the key vs Philly?  We break down more what TD had to say.  Surely the Titans need to come out and show some fight this week.  We pick some game in our weekly Pigskin Pick 'Em segment, and close out the week with some thoughts on LSU vs Ole Miss and final thoughts on Titans.

We have our weekly visit with Charles Robinson of NFLBlueBook.com discussing all things Titans and NFL.  Charles has a new article out on Cam Ward and comparing his early career to Bryce Young.  What other storylines stand out this week?  We react to what Charles had to say and get more into people being mad at Kuharsky for his questions.  Robby has the Rob Rant to close the hour.

Robby and Joe begin with some thoughts on the Bills' win over the Lion on the TNF last night.  Apparently some people are mad at Paul Kuharsky online for his line of questioning.  It's another big weekend of college football, and some fans are not happy about the recent direction of College Gameday.  Vanderbilt will be starting freshman Jared Curtis at QB for the first time.  What do we think about the matchup vs NC State?  Which are some of the other contests we are looking forward to?  We close the hour with some thoughts on the Titans vs Eagles.  George from the Boro called in once again.  Titans OC Brian Daboll didn't really say much at his weekly press conference yesterday.
