Welcome Back ROCK MOVERS!!
In this episode's conversation, Coach Karen interviews Shridhevi, who works with the neurodiverse and neurodivergent communities and parents.
Shridhevi shares her personal journey of changing careers and finding her true passion in helping parents of neurodivergent children. She discusses the importance of embracing authenticity and the power of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in behavior change.
Shridhevi also provides resources for parents and individuals with anxiety, OCD, and autism. She emphasizes the need for advocacy and support in navigating the education system for special needs children.
She says, “I am a parenting coach for busy professional moms, specializing in helping moms who feel stuck, have tried everything, and still can't get their child to listen. I also assist those who struggle with understanding their child's emotions or dealing with anger. I have supported hundreds of parents with children ranging from toddlers to teens to raise emotionally intelligent, independent and resilient children. My approach is to help parents figure out what they want to do, rather than telling them what you should do. I use processes such as motivation, flexible thinking, and a value-based framework to help parents get unstuck.
I help parents in every aspect, whether they have neurodiverse or neurotypical kids, improving health, increasing energy, or achieving a more harmonious work-life balance, to enhance their quality of life with their child. In addition to being a parenting coach, I am an author and podcaster, and I enjoy speaking, drawing, and painting.”
