  • Mother!

In the first installment of Spooky Scary Stuff(Unofficial for now?) Frank and Zach discuss a more suspense and mystery style horror movie in Darren Aronofskys's Mother! Listen as the first time that Zach doesn't fully agree with the film and Frank shakes his head in disapproval.

  • Samurai Cop

Our 10th Episode!! To celebrate we knew it had to be a special film to discuss. Bouncing back and forth between all the greats like Kubrick, Tarantino, Scorsese, and Bergman we decided that nobody could be better than Shervan... What? never heard of him? You never heard of Amir Shervan?!?!?! And you call yourself a "Film Lover"? He's directed so many classics like "Hollywood Cop", "Killing American Style", and today's film "Samurai Cop"! From the breathtaking cinematography to the perfect choreographed fights this is a true masterpiece. The plot you ask? I mean, does it really matter? With superstars like Matt Karedas, and Mark Frazer do you really even need an engaging plot? Amir sure didn't think so. Grab some beer, sit back and listen to us talk about possibly, ones of the greatest films ever to exist.

  • Deadpool

In a fourth wall breaking episode, today Frank and Zach talk Tim Millers directorial debut Deadpool. A 10 year long battle for lead actor Ryan Reynolds to have the movie made, is long worth the wait. In a PG13 era, Deadpool kicks R rated superhero films right in the balls and flips it off at the same time. A clever take on an origin story with a talented cast, great cinematography, and well written comedy. Maximum Effort!

  • Akira

Our first Anime film! What?!?! Somehow, someway, Zach got Frank to watch an Anime film... and Frank liked it! liked it a lot actually. Today we discuss 1988's "Akira". Taking place in the near future (2019), a secret military project endangers Neon-Tokyo when it turns a biker gang member into a rampaging psychic psychopath. Think "Chronicle" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" having a love child and what comes out is Akira. Akira asks some deep, heavy philosophical questions while also bringing you on a fun adventure. Give it a shot!

  • The Witch

On the newest episode, Frank and Zach discuss Robert Eggers debut horror film "The Witch" OR! "The VVitch" however you want to spell it. Backed by A24 this film is one hell of a debut feature for the up and coming Eggers. Studying the Puritan religion and witchcraft for 5 years you can tell from the opening scene that Eggers is a masterful filmmaker. From the beautifully haunting score, jawdropping cinematography, and fantastic dialogue you would never guess that Robert Eggers had less than 30 days to film it. All this being said, we can't wait to see his newest feature "The Lighthouse" coming out this October. But until then, live deliciously my friends.

  • Crimson Peak

Cool creatures and monsters, beautiful set designs, and some good gore. Today we discuss on of Zach’s favorite directors Guillermo del Toro with his goth romance “Crimson Peak”. That’s right everyone, it’s a Zach episode. All jokes aside a film that Zach is very passionate about, and Frank not so much. Our first episode where we disagree on the film (We broke up after this).
