Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering updates in the local Senate race between Dr. Mehmet Oz and John Fetterman, telling that Dr. Oz will be on later in the show. Dom tells that Fetterman’s wife has taken to Twitter to defend her husband, calling out Oz for being a Doctor who’s making fun a stroke patient. Then, Giordano tells about Ron DeSantis’s groundbreaking announcement of a suspension for a Florida State Attorney who has been reluctant to prosecute certain crimes. Dom explains the importance of such an announcement, and draws it back to Philadelphia and similar political ideology presented by Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.

Then, John McNesby, President of Philadelphia’s FOP Lodge 5 and newly elected Vice President of Pennsylvania’s FOP, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his new appointment as a state-wide leader and the organization’s endorsement of Dr. Mehmet Oz for Senate. First, Giordano asks McNesby why he’s decided to involve himself on a state-wide level, with McNesby explaining that now, more than ever, Philadelphia policing is interceding with state-wide policing due to a spike in crime. Then, Dom asks McNesby about the State FOP’s endorsement of Dr. Mehmet Oz, with McNesby telling that the decision was easy since Fetterman failed to respond to a questionnaire and seemed to have no interest in the police endorsement. After that, Giordano asks McNesby about a potential endorsement for Governor, with McNesby surprisingly revealing that the union is leaning toward endorsing Democrat Josh Shapiro over Republican Doug Mastriano, telling that the conservative candidate is for right to work, which is against the union and against Act 111, which would send pensions and benefits into a mess. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)
