RooHamm - A Bonnaroo Podcast

Bonnaroo is fast approaching which means its time to start planning those camps! Parker and Jake chat through their camping essentials, items to avoid and some of their favorite memories outside of Centeroo.

It's been a while since we've had significant Roo news to talk about... and we've got plenty this week to make up for it. There are few bits of bad/frustrating news, but there's also something to celebrate. After that, we give our take on Dos & Don'ts at Bonnaroo!

WARNING: Hot Takes Inside

From what we've heard, Saturday is the new hype night for Bonnaroo 2021. Now, it's no Friday of 2020, but this Saturday has a lot of promise! Parker and Jake are going down the lineup to talk about their most noteworthy acts of Saturday. There are some returning favorites and even more new discoveries.

Let's chat Roo, again. Bonnaroo is now offering single-day shuttle tickets and we're now offering a direct flight to Hamm-gri-la. Parker and Jake catch up on Roo news, as well as taking some questions from the community. What kind of CamelBaks are we bringing? Will we be shotgunning Hamm's at Roo? Find out by pressing play!

...and just like that, Bonnaroo has given us even more music to check out. Yes, the 2021 Who Stage lineup is here and Jake & Parker are diving in to talk about it top-to-bottom. We listened to every artist on this poster and we're here to tell you WHO we're planning to see there.

If we're being honest, the 2021 lineup for Friday doesn't match the hype from 2020's. BUT - there's still a lot to enjoy! This year's Friday acts include chart-toppers, a handful of throwbacks, and all the wubs you could ever need. Let's check it out.

P.S. - We did an entire episode on Foo Fighters. So if you wanna hear us go in depth on them, check out episode #20.

Life's been busy, so we're catching up with what the Roovians have been talking about on Reddit this week! What shoes to wear, stress dreams, potential lineup changes, we cover it all!

Spicy pizza, glazed pretzels, biscuit sandwiches... how much time do you have? This week we're talking about all the food/drink that has come to define part of Bonnaroo's culture! We're categorizing it all into a nifty tier list. WARNING: Hot takes inside.

We're back with another round of Roo Recs from... YOU! We reached out to the RooHamm community for song recommendations and y'all did NOT let us down! We're also chatting about the recently released Lollapalooza 2021 lineup.

Artists/Songs discussed in this episode:

Orville Peck - 'Turn to Hate'
Scarypoolparty - 'Out Loud'
Big Wild - 'Purple Sand (My Home)'
Pinegrove - 'Cadmium'

Let's talk about Thursday... again! The Thursday night lineup didn't change much from 2020 to 2021, but we have had over a year to sit on some of these artists and we're ready to give our updated thoughts. We took last week off so we are so ready to be back on the mics!
